Rhythmic coordination matters for memory

Our publication in eLife examines the flexible engagement of distinct hippocampal cell types in rhythmic circuits during an associative memory task. This paper shows that the timing of spiking activity in the hippocampus changes during successful task performance. Read our publication here.

We are very excited about this paper by Rangel, Rueckemann, Rivière et al., which has three co-first authors to represent the enormous amount of teamwork that supported this work.
