The right regressor

The relationship between neuronal spiking and oscillations in the local field potential can be unpredictable and complex. We have developed a method for selecting appropriate regressors to model this relationship. We will be using this novel tool to reveal the extent to which certain rhythmic inputs drive spiking activity in the hippocampus.
